Shampoo Bar – Grapefruit and May Chang

This is a soap-free shampoo bar that may also be used for beards and all-over body use.

It is simple to use: either rub the bar over wet hair to generate a lather, or rub the bar between hands and transfer the lather onto the hair. Rinse off as one would a standard shampoo.

We provide the shampoo bar in a drawstring cotton bag that may be hung up in the shower. The shampoo bar will sit quite happily in the bag when not being used.

The price is for one bar in its drawstring bag.

Ingredients:

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine & Aqua, Cetyl alcohol, Glyceryl stearate SE, Hydrogenated soybean oil (Naturewax C3), Butyrospermum parkii fruit butter, Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit) peel oil, Litsea cubeba (May Chang) fruit oil
Naturally occurring in essential oils: Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool

SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) is an ultra-mild surfactant, often used in foaming baby products; the SCI we use is not derived from palm oil.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine, derived from coconut oil, is a mild secondary surfactant used to add extra foam to the product.
Cetyl Alcohol adds benefits as a moisturising emulsifier, emollient, surfactant and thickener
Glyceryl stearate SE is an emulsifying and stabilising material that allows oil and water-based ingredients to mix well together.
Naturewax C3 helps to firm the bars and give them a smooth feel
Shea butter is known for its anti-inflammatory properties for the scalp as well as adding moisture and shine to the hair

This is a gentle goatmilk and silk soap packed with skin-loving avocado oil, sunflower oil, carrot tissue oil and raw shea butter. Its essential oil blend gives it a beautiful woodsy warm lavender aroma with a fruity citrus note. There are two options for packaging.  Please choose from: Basic packaging: The soap bar has a cigar band label with full ingredient details and is packed in a compostable glassine bag Gift box packaging: The soap bar is wrapped in a translucent vellum sleeve with a handmade paper band and tied with a fine satin ribbon.  It nestles in fine ivory shredded paper in our bespoke ivory ribbon-pull matchbox-style gift box.  Except for the ribbon, all packaging is recyclable. Bumblebee Sylvarum
With conditioning raw shea butter and sesame seed oil, like its fellow Bumbleebee soaps, it is vegan-friendly. Its aroma is very similar to the clean, fresh aroma of our 'Green Fingers' and includes lavender, rosemary, tea tree, peppermint, cedarwood and litsea essential oils. It includes ground nettle, green clay, turmeric, yellow clay and charcoal. Working in fine detail with clays and charcoal is tricky as the batter can thicken very quickly. The Shrill Carder is one of our rarest bumblebees and is being helped by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust through the 'Back from the Brink' project.  More details, and links to other projects in the BFTB partnership, can be found here. 20% of the sale price of each bar will go directly to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
